I had to extract the top 1 x 4 from a 8" high door transom without damaging all the molding the trim.the tool worked great for getting in there and cutting and replacing the offending one by four. It allowed me to remove the existing one without damaging any of the elaborate moldings around it..

I watched a couple of contractors use this type of tool and thought it would be very handy to have. I have a large selection of Ryobi tools and use them around the house a lot. I do lots of different projects and this tool I wish I had in my set long ago. Love it!!
