They are very comfortable if you’re on your feet for 8hrs! Comfy heal, good arch support. But it’s really wide in the toe. And I didn’t get it in wide size. Also fabric seems like they won’t last very long. Not to be worn on a everyday shoe!

I love these shoes. I broke my ankle and had two operations and I need the support on my ankle.These shoes have great arch support too. My ankle swells and the strap could be a little longer.OVERALL GREAT SHOE

This is the second time I've ordered this shoe. Wears well and looks good - I originally bought a pair 2-3 years ago and only reordered because it seems whenever a sneaker wears out, it's been replaced by something cheaper. This is the same quality as the sneaker I previously ordered. I'm a size 9 in street shoes and ordered up a size; despite that, I don't have that 'big foot' look that makes me wish I was a size 7.

a few years ago, i was locked down in my house and couldn't do anything...words, something about a pandemic. so while people were putting weight on and growing foul-smelling food-catching beards, i bought a pair of ryka trainers and with their help i started working out at home using a nintendo product losing 45lbs. the lockdown ended and i happened to start dating someone who loved wine, wine tasting, and weekend road trips all over CA to procure more wine. so, i put the weight back on. we broke up in the spring and i decided to lose the weight again, and then some. i really liked the fit of my ryka's as i danced and ran around the tv losing weight. when i decided to join the new gym across the street, i bought some new ryka's, these ryka's. i needed something to hug my ankles and provide support and yet accommodate extra room for my ankle braces. i found everything i need in one place and they are sooo comfortable and supportive, you should try them too! i've started losing weight again (approx 20lbs) and i could not have done that without the gym where i get to show off the best training shoes ever!

I don't know what it is about these Rykas, but this is literally the 4th pair I bought. They were 50% off this time, so I had no other option but to purchase. They sat in the box for a few weeks. I recently had knee surgery and since it aligns your entire leg,ankle...I pulled out the new pair. These are the only shoes I can wear at work,standing all day without getting swollen feet and ankles. I just wish I could buy the peach colored ones, but they never have my size- 11W! Which this is another reason I love them- they are wide enough, support my ankle and are fashionable.

Just as many other reviews stated, these shoes are flimsy, not well made, provide no support, #wouldnotrecommend. I proceeded with my purchase bc I thought, "I don't plan to machine was these shoes; so I'll be fine." I was wrong. I purchased the shoes solely for step class bc of the seemed instep and ankle support. I wore the shoes 3 times and the third time was so I could assess what I already learned. After the second wear to step class the shoes gave me zero support. What I thought would be ankle support was an unsupportive velcro strap and the instep support wasn't any better. Please do not waste your money. These shoes don't even provide support for a casual walk. #Wouldnotrecommend.

Amazon told me I would fit into this shoe according to its data.. I wear a 10 in regular shoes but almost always use a 10.5 for athletic shoes. I got a 10 in this shoe, and I think I should have gotten a 10.5. It fits fine, and I don't feel the big toe rub at the tip, but if you're on the fence, go a half size up. Especially if you might want to wear thicker socks. Otherwise, I love the shoe! It's got great support in the arch and heel. Its not micro foam, but it feels solid. And the shoe is super light, so you don't feel much when you're moving. I haven't run or jogged in it.

The minor negative stuff first: I miss the old High top Rykas I used to wear for dance, but they are never in stock. The outer sole was made of higher quality rubber, I'm not on board with the foam stuff but it seems like all shoes are made with it now so I guess I better just accept it. I just don't think it lasts as long but time will tell and I'm hard on shoes regardless. They are just a tiny bit bigger than I expected but I wouldn't buy a size smaller. I am usually a wide width in these shoes so if I buy another pair I will get the medium width.The good: I love the padded ankle support. The shoes are supportive but not so tight that they restrict blood flow. I took them out for a run today, and barely felt it in my knee and ankle. I used to dance but I actually bought these for running and lifting. I need the ankle support and I hate wearing a brace while I work out so we shall see how they hold up. I might buy a second pair to just wear around if they last. Despite the foam rubber the outer sole is made of, the shoes are put together nicely, no damage that I can see and so far they feel like a quality shoe.

Fits perfect. Ryka is my shoe of choice. As a Jazzercise Instructor I require support and comfort in a shoe. This shoe does not disappoint. And, I have a lot more “spring in my step” with Ryka.
