I got these for an old welder that I am restoring, and they work great. They replaced some connections that were burned up or missing completely, and they look and work just like new OEM parts. The price is very nice too, much less than my welding store quoted. They went in with nao problems, and all of my LC40 cables plug right in easily.I like them.

I used to unbolt my welding leads when storing my welder outside. This was such a pain. These connectors have solved that problem. They are very easy to install. Quality built. Worth the money!!!

I recently started using these Tweco-style LC-40 connectors in my projects. Specifically, my car audio projects. I wanted to use some kind of quick-disconnect system for my amp board and for my lithium battery cells. It allows me to remove or reorient things without having to take bolts out of my vehicle. I wasn't looking for these specifically and didn't realize they made anything like this, but when I saw them I had to give them a try.They arrived in a nice box and contain the connectors, set screws, and regular screws to assemble these.The fit and finish of these isn't perfect. Most tweco style connectors will twist and then lock with a noticeable stop. These don't stop so much as just get too hard to twist. It's not that same tactile feedback that I'm used to, so it concerns me that they aren't all of the way locked in. I found that switching the male portion out for another LC-40 connector fit better into the post mounts than the included ones.I tested this as the ground connection for my lithium battery cells and it worked! It's nice to have a post that this tweco handle can fit into rather than just having two handles joined and laying around. It's a cleaner look.Overall I'm happy with this kit, though I wish the fit was better. If I need more I may try another brand just to see if I get the "lock" that I want. Still, these will work.

These RX Weld LC40 and CT40FA quick connects are a great bargain for this complete package. My Miller engine driven welding machine had both AC and DC outputs and not I have quick connects on all leads. Makes it super easy to swap leads if I want to change from AC or DC current. The connections are high quality and seem to be made from durable material. Funtions perfect and connections fit easily between my different LC40 connectors. Highly recommend these if your looking to purchase.

We would normally get these from our local welding shop when replacing leads. These are interchangeable with the ends we're currently using and have worked great on a pair of extension leads. There's no difference in quality, just price from the brand our supply house uses.

Male ends as well as female ends are approximately 5/8" in diameter. These are intended for LARGE diameter welding leads on some older models of welders. If you have any of the sub $450 chinesium welders with 3 ft leads available on here this likely WONT WORK for you. That being said, these are high quality solid brass fittings with an included hex wrench to tighten down on your wire ends...hopefully you have tinned them already, or better yet you know how to sweat the wires into the lugs for a permanent fit that should never fail.
