Rx Clear Radiant Sand Filter
This filter is designed to handle the filtration needs of many of today's pools. It provides an efficient, easy to use, simple to install and operate system that will keep pool water clean and sparkling. The core of these systems is the one-piece blow-molded tank that sits atop a universal base that accepts most pumps. Includes a top mount, 6-position multi-port valve and has a high capacity sand bed to catch more debris and extends filter cycles.
A Replacement for Sand
Rx Clear Luster Filter Media is designed to be an alternative to pool filter sand for pool filters. One box of filter media (1.5 lbs) equals 50 lbs of sand.

This pump and filter are AMAZING! Crystal clear water, perfect power, fairly easy to set up. We had a tiny pump that came with the pool (see the pic) and it simply could not keep our water clean. We took a big chance and bought this one (with the Luster Blue balls) and the difference is incredible!

It took 4-5 tries to get the correct parts and accessories for the pump/filter. Eventually, all the correct parts came together and it works great.Don’t be in a hurry or assume it will be correct the first time. Eventually it will be great.

This is a quality product, large tanks, motor and a solid thick base. A quality high pressure hose , two hose to connect to the pool an associated pvc fittings and stainless steel clamps. I sent back one of those over 14in with the electronic control - it was a toy stay away. This pump/ filter can't be beat for the price. I seen plenty pumps and this is equivalent to the more expensive pumps sold by the pool stores. You will not be disappointed. For a hundred bucks more than the cheaper version it will be money well spent.

Pump work as expected but the instructions are bare minimal. And it needs to be grounded. There is no customer service and the parts are not labeled with there actual name just a number but not identified which part is goes to.

This is a problematic set up. In all the filters I have dealt with in the past the drain is formed in plastic and is part of the 1Cbubble 1D itself and just has a cap to close it off. With the radiant unit if you tighten the nut on the drain collar that goes through the plastic bubble the inside starts to turn as well and you have no seal. This was found out after loading 300lbs of sand into the unit. We then had to empty the sand out and try to fix the leak. You tighten everything and test it and it still leaks. It seems that once the inside starts to turn there is no way to fix this. It is a shame that this unit which is priced very well and seems to have no other issues can be made worthless by a plastic drain tube. The company offered to send out a new drain plug but that did no good to help fix the problem. It is still the same issue. NOT worth the money if your brand new pool filter leaks water.Very Disappointed. I would have been willing to pay for an upgrade that would not leak but the company did not offer for us to return this worthless filter.
