Simple to install with only a 3/4 inch hole required for the wires and two flat head self tapping screws. No sawing or routers required. Available in both two (standard) and three wire configurations to allow for connection to a secondary battery source. Alarm activates with a four beep pattern with a flashing red LED for CO gas, or a continuous beeping with a solid red LED for Propane gas. If both gases are present, the alarm will indicate Propane as it requires more immediate action. Meets or exceeds all UL2034 requirements for Carbon Monoxide alarms in Recreational Vehicles. I’ve had my truck camper for four years and this is my 3rd LP alarm. The one that came in the camper (new) started squawking after a year and disrupted too many nights of sleep before replacement; it should have lasted at least 3 years. #2 was hard to install, didn’t fit well into the old space and was clunky. It would go off whenever it felt crowded; we’d hear it as we were driving down the road with LP off. By contrast, this unit was incredibly easy to install, is slim and streamlined, easy and inoffensive to test, and appears to function perfectly AND correctly. Wish I’d found this two years ago. I actually trust it as an alarm. I even like the green light, which lights the floor at night.

I’m sure it will do its job for propane detection, but the description leads you to believe it’s a propane CO monitor. I was siuspecious due to the price point consistent with propane sensor only.

Buyer Beware. This is only a propane detector. Not CO and Propane as pictured and described. The Company said this incorrect information is on Amazon. Either way read carefully.
