It works like it says but is not very well made. My cat grabbed it once and tore a hole in it already. Not super easy to install, not hard either. I am not super thrilled with this one I am likely gonna seek a heavy duty one. May work for someone who doesn't have young cats..... But does not withstand one claw one time so that is a no for me.

The shade is nice. It's a medium weight item that does provide blackout quality for your window. The hook-and-loop fastener stickers, however, do not work to hold the shade up. They simply peel right off the fabric of the shade and leave you with a dropped shade within minutes. I ended up using double-sided tape attached to the fabric, and then the hook-and-loop fastener stickers attached to that. So far so good. We'll see though if this holds up in the long run. I would say that you should make sure that you can either use the screws for attaching the shade, or be willing to sew the velcro onto the shade.

This shade is thick and easy to install. I like the magnets that allow you to partially raise the shade. It looks very classy.

I bought one of these window protectors off of one of the cheap foreign sites we shall not name, anticipating they're probably all the same. Nope, not so. This window shade is at least 30% thicker and it has a nice reflective backside that will serve its intended purpose well. It kind of reminds me of the walls of the lunch coolers you buy the kids for school. It's well thought out. I like the magnetic sides that help hold the sections in place. It covers the window nicely and now I'm going to have to go back and buy a second one for the other door. There's really no comparison to the quality. Maybe I'll use the other one as a dish mat.

Very easy and straightforward to install and does well blocking out light which is helpful since i do occasionally have to work nights.So far it holds under its own weight and my only concern is the strength of the adhesive backing but that remains to be seen.I will certainly be buying more in the future for similarly sized windows.

I installed this on my RV door window to replace a rigged up system I had been using.Everything needed was included in the package, installation was very easy and straightforward, and it works exactly as I expected. The magnetic attachment is nice and that means no velcro or snaps to rip or rust.I just leave it on permanently, since the window is fogged anyhow, it's not like I can really see out of it.For the price, this is a perfect upgrade. You'll easily pay double for an inferior one at a camping/outdoor store.
