Exactly what I needed. Made well.

Plastic fittings eventually strip out when threading a metal hose end. This won't do that and is much more robust. Pretty easy to install on my RV as well.

The problem that I ran into was after installing the nut on the backside of the valve. The nut has 2 edges there to assist with tightening those get in the way of the water line that connects to it and keeps you from being able to tighten it up all the way.

We bought to install in our Skoolie. Seems better built that many others. Definitely worth checking out!

I used this to replace the water inlet on our RV, I did have to trim one side of the metal as it was too close to the edge of the inlet box on my RV, however this solved our leak/ drip problem.

It seems they are everywhere. From budget RVs to the most expensive 5th wheels. Most of the connection accessories sold on RVs are cheap plastic. Well, this is a great alternative. The Micnce "RV Water Inlet with 3/4'' GHT Female 1/2'' NPT Male Connection, All Metal RV City Water Inlet with Check Valve, RV Water Fill Inlet RV Water Inlet Replacement" is cast METAL.Not only does it have a great feel, you won't be worried about stripping out the threads on that cold night you are hooking up in the dark. Built with an integral backflow preventer, the metal flange is backed up by two rubber gaskets and a metal-flanged cinch bolt.Comes with screws and replacement gaskets and screens.

I was surprised at the nice heavy weight of this metal water inlet I got for my RV. It feels like it will last a long time - much better than the plastic versions I have seen. It comes with a screen filter which is also nice when hooking up to unknown water sources in RV parks and campgrounds. It comes with washers and installation is easy with some pipe tape and RV sealant. This makes getting water a lot easier in my self-built RV.

I think the side of your trailer will break before this water inlet will. Well made and sturdy, it replaced my broken plastic one with an exact fit. I recommend this product.
