Have had these outside my 5th wheel in Texas for a week. Already starting to rust. We’re assembled perfectly and they feel weak and wobbly. The mats don’t glue down and blow away. Not worth the time to assemble or money for that matter.

Priced reasonably for the size of the steps. Fairly sturdy once assembled. Finish and material quality is lacking. Not enough washers included to properly complete assembly. If you are handy and can add a coat of your own finish to weatherproof these, they may be worth considering. If you are looking for something that is weatherproof out of the box and built to last forever, look elsewhere.Pros:+ Inexpensive+ Large step size is easy to walk on+ Can support a fair amount of weight+ Includes a handrail that is not terribleCons:- Cheap materials and construction, seems to have minimal quality control- Black finish is porous and easily scratched- Will rust if not sealed with at least an additional clear coat, or completely repainted.- Assembly is a drag. Made with many small pieces to save on shipping.- Need to buy extra M6 or 1/4 inch washers to properly secure all bolts.- Carpet tiles are not adhesive and fall off easily.- Long term durability is suspect, especially if exposed to rain.Several threaded inserts were misaligned or damaged at the factory on my unit. Much of the black finish came pre scratched and scuffed up.These steps take a while to assemble. There are almost 100 fasteners to secure, and some of the locations are tricky to access. It goes a lot faster if you use an impact wrench with a 4mm hex bit, and a 10mm socket. Due to the locations of some fasteners, a wobble extension or universal joint is also extremely helpful. Have an extra 60-70 M6 or 1/4-inch stainless steel washers on hand to be able to use them on both sides of all bolts. I completed the assembly using power tools in about an hour. Putting this together with only hand tools would take much longer.Once assembled, it does feel sturdy enough to support several adults at once.

This set of RV steps arrived with its components intact, well protected, and neatly packaged within a generic looking box. I have not yet assembled it, but after reviewing the instructions, it appears as though assembly should be relatively simple. The instructions consist primarily of large detailed diagrams illustrating assembly in about 12 steps. The material the stairs are constructed of feel pretty sturdy metal with a weather resistant finish. The welds appear to be of good quality. The hardware is conveniently bagged and clearly labeled. Overall, I recommend.
