We have a 42' fifth wheel RV that has two skylights. One in the bedroom and one over the shower. We live in FL and the sun heats the RV while in storage to over 100 degrees inside. The skylights also let in so much light I can't sleep. These shades solve both problems by blocking out the light and heat. They fit perfectly (I never have that kind of luck!). They were easy to install and the velcro strips are strong. The magnets also allow me to open them up without removing them, although thats easy to do too. The RV has a gray and black decor, so the black shades were fine for us even though the window trim is white. The pictures show how great they look.

No issues installing and is holding up and doing it job - reducing heat thru skylight area durning summer. The 2 rounded corners would have worked a little better had they been square but it's not that big of deal.

This blocks out the light, holds our skylight pillow in place (the main reason for this purchase), and adds insulation. With all of the above it is easily removable, as we have a shower skylight in our kitchen and sometimes like the extra light.

This product is okay. It does work well to block out the sunlight from our bathroom skylight but it attaches with black sticky Velcro and I’m not such a fan of that. When you take the shade off the skylight you have black strips all around the perimeter of the skylight, not pretty to look atI’m also afraid that with all the heat up there it’s going to make the Velcro extremely gooey. I may try to figure out what I can do differently.

I purchased this shade for my sprinter fifth wheel entry door. I really did not want to adhere anything to my door but I don’t think you have a choice if you want to shade like this, other than put a new window in which I wasn’t going to do.I measured my window and saw that this product fit. What I liked about it was the fact that you could fold it up little by little to allow as much light as you wanted. It is very thick material and quality made and will keep the light/cold out nicely.I precisely measured the Velcro strips that came with it and attached them to the shade first. I pressed them on firmly and gave them a little bit to sit.Then I made sure that the strips fit on the black part of the window as much as possible(having to be precise in this part what is the worst of the project!) once I determined all was well I started at the top and pressed it down firmly while working my way to the bottom. I will say once it adheres even slightly you’re not taking it off!I let it sit for the rest of the day not pulling or tugging on it. Later on I folded it up and everything stuck nicely.The good thing about this product is it’s like a shade that can go all the way to the top and then it stays on the door. You don’t have to pull it off and find a place to store it, that is nice.The one thing I will be watching for it and hoping doesn’t happen is that those strips get all hot and gooey like some people referred to.I think this is an awesome product and does exactly what it needs to. I would highly recommend purchasing if you are in need of a shade to keep the sun out and it would no doubt insulate in cooler weather because it is thick.
