The spec sheet that comes with it claims it can be used with countertops up to 15mm thick. This is dubious. On a 13mm countertop, using only one of the two supplied rubber washers to seal the countertop side, there is not enough of the shank protruding to fully tighten the water line connector. I solved the problem by thinning down the included nylon jam nuts to leave a few more millimeters of shank exposed. The product could be improved by making the shanks about 5 mm longer or simply by including some thinner (preferably metal) jam nuts.
