Immediately upon being pressured the selector knob was hissing gas out of it in the left hand position. It was so bad a bubble check wasn't necessary but I did it anyway.

I was really excited to change out my unit , hoping the leak would be there ( it was). The product is solid, easy to install and works well EXCEPT for the gages.. they will say completely out even on a newly filled propane tank, I went 5 days on “empty”.. so clearly the gages DO NOT work properly . So if you’re looking to rely on gages, this is not the product for you . *I have to wait til it blows cold or guesstimate. Cheap gages

My camper is 17 years old and in pristine condition. I had the entire camper restored 2 years ago so I take pride in my equipment. The stock regulators worked OK, however they're critical when the temperature starts to dip and your heater won't light. So rather than run the risk, I decided to renew the LPG system. I'll feel more secure in December!
