Step 1
Put a lot of sealant on the surface.
Step 2
Put the new vent cover on the sealant and swing it back and forth slightly.
Step 3
Put the screws back in. (Does not come with mounting screws in package.)
Step 4
Put the top cover on the base and click it in place line.

This was exactly what I was looking for, my old RV black tank roof vents were open at the top. I removed the old ones and these fit on top with the preexisting holes lining up perfectly. They required me to trim my tubing a little, but provided a snug fit and look clean.I gave 4 stars, because one of my removable caps came off in the wind, exposing the tube to rain and debris. I was able to recover it and used some RV window and door seal into the small holes, which is now securing the cap on. No leaks into the roof or black water tank.

Flange was broken on one of the caps upon arrival. They’re thin, flimsy, but the one that was intact serves its purpose. Good thing they come in packs of two.
