Perfect replacement for LIPPERT in awning lights. If you’re awning, comes with lights mounting inside the roller, this is for you. The install is a little tricky, because you have to take the arm off to access inside the roller. I would recommend having help for that part. Somebody to help stabilize the arm while you disconnect the wire.You unhook the old lights and just pull out old strip from track.I opted for better locking connectors, I’m not a fan of wire nuts on tiny wires. The light strip is sized perfectly where I was able to wedge them in the track. Just need to use a flat tip screwdriver to push in. The whole job took about an hour. I did it all standing in back of pickup. The lights work great after 10 day camping trip. I would say it has a very slight blue tint. Looks great. Extreme great value, even if they only last a year, I will not pay hundreds of dollars for original factory replacement.

I replaced the manual awning with a Lippert power awning on my motorhome. Much less expensive than the one you can add thru Lippert. The install was easy as the new awning came with pre installed 12v connection. The full length adhesive made for easy attachment to the awning rail. Looks great, really lights up the whole area under the awning.

This was a perfect fit to replace my worn out factory lights, adhesive seems to hold good, time will tell.

My husband had no problem installing this. Wired up to the outside light, so there is a bit of wire showing but still look great. Love the light that this gives, its bright but not shocking. Makes our camper look updated.

I bought these lights and put them on my camper. At first it didn't look very bright when I hooked them up. The next morning I noticed the lights had come down even though I cleaned where I put them very well. I got in touch with the company and explained what happened without much help but they just told me to return them. This was not good seeing I already had it wired to to my trailer. I bought some alien tape and it worked awesome. At night the lights are much brighter than I thought it would be. Very satisfied with product just the adhesive is not the greatest.

Excellent quality LED lights. Easy to install on our motor home. I was nervous to cut to size, but it wasn’t a problem (I did put a dab of waterproof silicone on the end). Tried other types that were cheaper, plus dim and change color, but none lasted and I find I didn’t use those functions anyway. This throws a fantastic light under the awning. It’s bright, but not overwhelmingly so. The color type is “cool” (blueish not warm/yellowish), but that matches the original. Also MUCH better quality than those others. It’s like a rope light with the LEDs protected behind a thick clear layer, but the size still fits perfectly in the channel below the awning. I used a plastic auto trim tool to push it into some of the tighter spots. Adhesive that it comes with seems to be good quality and it’s holding well so far (~10hrs at highway speeds & rain showers/storms). I expect it to last several years, at least.

Well was not aware of motion detection and cannot vouch yet for waterproof. We did wire it to the porch light. Did blow a fuse on the first attempt. But now when I turn on the porch light, it comes on as well. Only thing I did not plan for is the attraction where I am of the bugs. But love the look and it does light the area, especially during evening dog walks which were becoming problematic with the lack of light.UPDATE. So apparently did not save the review. Something went wrong. Turned on last night, all was well, then it went dark. Guess it lasted less than 3 weeks. It is deader than a door handle but the main porch light still works. Can only assume the strip is dead. Not sure if there is a way to check this. Loved it while it worked. By the time I was able to have it installed, missed the return window. SAD!

Not blaming the seller, I should have done more research... measuring. The item is nice and bright, weather proof, and VERY sticky tape to install :-) I took my old one off, and this one is 1/16 or 1/8" wider than the original. My camper is a 2016 Heartland Prowler. The connections weren't the same as my 12V supply (my fault to not double check this too), but was easy to strip back and wire nut existing wiring to new light strip. The light strip can easily able to cut to the exact length, and marked very clearly where to cut.
