This is a gallon of textured black truck bed coating. I have a little garden cart that was starting to rust a bit, so I put a new sheet of metal in the cart, then coated the interior with this product. It blended the sides and bottom of the cart together and made it look brand new. The inside of the cart has a rough texture and it will grip lightly, much like a Rhino Liner finish. It weather protects well. I'm looking forward to years of using my garden cart after refurbishing with this product. I'm very pleased with the product. I would order it and use it again.

I’ve used the Rust-Oleum Automotive All-In-One Truck Bed Coating Kit several times now, including on the interior of bare vehicles, vehicle frames, and of course, the bed of my truck. This product works well for basic applications, especially when you’re looking to restore or protect truck beds that have seen better days. It’s an entry-level option that’s great for DIY projects, but you’ll need to invest a little time in prep work for the best results. The key to a successful application is prepping the surface thoroughly. Don't skip on the sanding, abrasion, and degreasing — you’ll need to clean and scuff the surface more than you might expect. This product will not adhere well to any dirt, grease, or oxidation, so make sure the surface is pristine. I recommend using a wire brush or sanding the surface to get a good texture for the coating to bond to.Once you’ve prepped the surface, the application is pretty straightforward. The textured black finish is easy to roll on, and the kit is simple enough to use without requiring any specialized tools. For maximum protection and coverage, I always make sure to apply a thicker layer than the instructions recommend. This helps ensure that the coating covers thoroughly and provides a solid barrier against wear and tear, especially in high-traffic areas like a truck bed. While it’s not the most premium product on the market, it does the job well for truck beds in poor condition or as a cost-effective way to refresh and protect your vehicle’s underbody and frame. It holds up well against abrasions, moisture, and UV damage, and it gives a nice textured finish that looks great and feels durable. In short, if you're looking for an affordable, entry-level truck bed coating, Rust-Oleum Automotive All-In-One Truck Bed Coating Kit is a solid choice. Just make sure you take your time on the prep work — it's the difference between a decent result and one that will last.

Terrible bed liner product. Paint tray broken when it arrived, can dented badly.Used included scuffing pad that barely did anything so I have a bunch of spots with poor adhesion.Went and bought a Herculiner kit and way better product for the money.

This Rust-Oleum Truck Bed Coating Kit is an absolute beast for restoring truck beds! The all-in-one kit makes it so easy to revamp worn or unfinished metal beds, and the textured finish adds a rugged, durable layer of protection. The non-skid coating forms perfectly to the truck bed's contours, making it practical and functional for daily use.I was impressed by the coverage—it spreads across 160 square feet and dries quickly enough to be ready for light use in just 24 hours. The flat matte finish is not only stylish but also shields against rust, scratches, and chemicals. The value is unbeatable. The kit includes everything you need—roller, brush, pan, and even a scuff pad. It’s quality craftsmanship at its best, making it worth every penny.

The Rust-Oleum 382628 Automotive All-In-One Truck Bed Coating is a solid, budget-friendly option for DIY enthusiasts looking to protect their truck beds or other surfaces. It's easy to apply, provides decent protection, and works well for moderate use. However, for those needing maximum durability or professional results, investing in a spray-on liner might be a better option. I'm restoring and 66 Chevy and this looks great and adhered well.
