I am returning the product. I had questions about the product so I contacted Rustoleum by e-mail. They first told me they didn't sell a tentacle product. I wrote back and showed them photos of what I just bought. They then replied "Previously, there was a Dark Gray Tint available for use with the Rust-oleum Truck Bed Coating Clear, but it has been discontinued and has not been produced since 2020. We cannot assure the quality of any tint base purchased at this time."Since they cannot assure the quality of their product since apparently it is OLD stock, I don't want to use it and find out it doesn't work for my application.

I was looking for a paint that would be durable on my Stock Tank Pool. I purchased and applied this to the exterior of my stock tank and adhered great. It didnt dry quickly and I was able to take my time with the paint. I would recommend this paint to any metal project surfaces !

So, I bought it along with a gallon of clear truck bed liner. I used the whole can of color in the gallon. I did 4 light coats and 1-2 heavy coats. I think it turned out pretty good. Only used a little more than half a gallon. Follow the prep directions. I used a medium nap roller. Just make sure it rolls well. The texture turned out great.

Don't listen to the people leaving negative reviews of it being half coagulated, it's just fine and seems to be a normal thing, just like any paint, you need to stir/mix it. I ordered 7 cans and was worried so I opened them all and they were like others have stated. After about 5 minutes of stirring each one they were absolutely fine. Makes sense, paint needs to be stirred right?
