The screw doesn’t fit properly so the bell hangs wonky. Disappointing given the price. Also allegedly made in Germany, but has a made in China tag in it.

first once came with the stem broken, second one cant attached the inside bell...there is an eye bolt on the inside so there is no way to connect the bell to it...

I read all of the reviews about receiving the item broken but this bell seemed to be just what I was looking for.I should have listened because sure enough, I received mine and it was broken.I will not try to have it replaced because if it can get broken in a double boxed shipping package that shows no obvious damage then there is no way that it will hold up on a playground.Now I am off to continue the search....

A really like this bell, it rings back to a time before I was deaf. Now that I’m no longer under the bell the sensation of sound is coming back.

Great! We have this as a front door bell. The sound is perfect and the aesthetic is exactly what we wanted. It didn't come with any screws/hardware/instructions which is why I only gave 4 stars

We bought this to hang at the top of a rock wall in my kids' playroom. I am pleased that it is not a loud clang, not too tinny, it has a nice clean "ding" that doesn't echo forever. It is exactly what we were looking for!

This bell is great. It is heavy and sturdy. We do not have a farm in the country or acres of property, but when I ring this bell, which is mounted on my kitchen wall, my animals (wife and daughter) come running for food. The bell is loud, but pleasing, and suits the decor of our New York City colonial farmhouse.

This bell was exactly what I was looking for. To hang on my front door frame. Substantial size and weight, and unlike other reviews, mine arrived completely assembled. Luckily I had 3 black screws that fit perfectly, as screws were not supplied. The sound is loud and clear. Very happy with the bell and would recommend. Sales price of $24.99 beat all other internet sellers (Wayfair is selling for $35, others for $45 - sorry, although it's a great product, I would not pay more than the $25 I paid).
