If these were cheaper I'd buy several pair. These are perfect feel, not that gritty feeling material most of them are in here. They are tight spandex feeling. Perfect fit for my over weighted kid that needs something flexible to fit his form.

Great size match for my son who started his football journey just this year as he began 7th grade. So far they feel good on him and look amazing! Very great protection all around the lower area. Hopefully will be durable and the quality lasts for multiple years and has a belt that tightens and losens, giving a range for growth. The size chart was pretty accurate and I'm glad I trusted it and read reviews!!

Pants are good, will serve the purpose for practice pants in the spring.All the reviews are correct, these run small. My son is 13 and needs a men's small for length. These barely meet the need, but they meet the need. The great thing with Amazon is the free return. I'd order up if I were you though.The pads aren't very thick and depending on the preference, it may not be enough. If they're being word with padded compression shorts (as the ones we bought will be), the pants will be fine.For the price, these pants are a good deal compared with others out there.
