These do run a size small, a 3xl is more like a 2xl. They barely fit me and are a super tight compression fit which is what I wanted, but the stitching seems to suck and runs.I ordered one pair and out of the package it had a sitch run, thinking it might be one bad apple I returned and ordered a new one. But, exact same thing happened.

My son wears an adult medium is everything, and honestly they are slightly on the larger side because he prefers that and I won’t complain since that means his clothes last longer. So I got these football pants in a large thinking that way if they ran a bit small they would fit…This runs on insanely small… like I’m surprised my son can get the waist around one of his thighs. He would have likely needed an XXL in order to fit into this. He may have been able to get the XL on, but it would have been so uncomfortably tight that my son would have complained excessantly. I’m not sure what the brand was thinking, I’ve bought quite a few clothing and sporting clothes from them for my son in the past and this is the first time that there is this much of a size difference. Honestly if I wasn’t positive I ordered adult sized and that it specifically says it’s adult on it, then I would think that they accidentally sent me youth sizes.

Ordered a 3XL and these are an XL at best. There is no way these are adult Men's.Size WAY up, or simply go another route. These simply missed the mark entirely.As others have said, no pads included either.

The product pictures and descriptions paint an unclear picture of what these are and what is and is not included. These are football pants with pockets for pads but no pads are included.The fit could be an issue as well. These are for "adults" so I got the small size for my 12 year old son. He's not a big kid, just average in size, and the thigh area is too tight for him to pull up the crotch area so it restricts the range of motion of his legs and hips.

The pants are just your run of the mill standard football pants. There’s nothing fancy about them. The fit seems to run a little small, so keep that in mind. The listing is deceiving because it makes it look like the pants come with pads. They do not. These are fine if you have your own pads. The material is fine. The stitching is fine. They’ll probably hold up as well as any generic brand pant. These are not worth the price that they’re listed for.

These were advertised as MENS. We ordered a men's medium and received a youth small. They look like they might fit a 4-yr-old! They are teeny tiny! They also didn't come with any pads at all and in a completely different style than pictured. I also ordered black and they came grey. Not sure what the heck happened. Needless to say we can't use these.

I got my son the adult large which is what he normally wears and, we ended up getting the Large and they are too small! A waste. So, my recommendation is size up.
