The light is terrific. It is bright and just broad enough to light my path without lightening the who street. I really like it. However, the buckle is very cheap and is not easy to use. I wish they had gone with Velcro or at least a higher quality buckle. I will be trying to figure out a better solution.

This is an awesome light for being hands free. The only problem is that the band is absolutely impossible to put on, especially using just one hand. It's a cheap, thin fabric with a tinny thin clasp. It doesn't lie on your wrist patiently, won't thread easily, and is just a total pain to put on. For that reason I don't use the band. The light, on the other hand, is bright and while I don't use the other functions like blinking, etc. I can see that these would be great to have as safety options.Change the band and this is an amazing light.

UPDATE; after writing the review below, I tried using this a few nights in a row, and part of the hasp on the wristband broke. So despite an initial glowing review I'm going to give this a single star, but won't erase the original review. You can find that below...Easy to plug in and recharge, and I suppose it'll last longer because the wristband is traditional style and not velcro. I appreciate that it is waterproof as I will be using it while delivering packages in the evenings. Being able to simply point my arm in a direction and have it lit, while still keeping my hand free, is going to be a blessing.

Bought this for a bit of an off-label use - working in the yard in twilight or darkness. It really works nicely for that purpose. Headlamps are sweaty and can be fiddly to adjust, but having the light wrist-mounted like this really allows for a nice hands-free illumination to allow for working into the evening a bit.

Full disclosure, I received this item as part of Amazon's Vine Program in exchange for an honest review, good or bad. The first thing I notice when I picked it up was how light it is. It may be durable, but it feels delicate from the weight, like you better not drop it or it will break. The USB port cover will not stay closed so it is not water resistant. Then I notice how bad the bands feel. It took a long time to put the watch on because the material the bands are made out of was not cooperating.I am a nearly 6 foot, 200 lbs man and wear large gloves. The I had to use the smallest hole. I guess it is meant for really big guys. A teen age boy or an average size woman will not be able to wear this because the band will be too big for them. You can't make a smaller hole it it because of the material either.Once I put it on and turned on the flash light, I said out loud, "Well this is stupid!". THIS LIGHT NEVER SHINES WHERE YOUR HANDS ARE WORKING! If you turn it so the light is on your inside wrist it shines 1 or 2 feet to the side of where your hands are working. If you turn it on the outside of your wrist, it shines 3 to 5 feet in front of you your hands or the light is blocked by your hand, so the light appears to be flicking on and off as you work with your hand. This was advertised as a "running light" which I knew from the beginning was not going to work. When you run, your arms swing back and forth so this light will be lighting in front of you, then behind you, then in front of you then behind you with every stride. You need a headlamp or chest lamp instead.Where it might work is as a task light shining on your work area, but since the beam is angled at the wrong angle, it does not work for that function at all. Your kids might like to play with it as a toy, keeping in mind they can't wear it. Beyond that, I can't think of how it would be useful.

Bright Flashlight but a bit bulky. The compass is okay and not super high quality. We mostly use it as an easier way to have a flash light without wearing a headlamp. For that it works great.

I ordered the 1000 LUMEN RECHARGEABLE WRIST RUNNING FLASHLIGHT for my husband because he's kind of a gadget guy, and he collects flashlights. I thought this would be a unique light for him to add to his collection. It arrived yesterday, and he is all smiles about it. It's rechargeable and works well right out of the box—no configuration is necessary. The light is reasonably bright; it's well placed for a wrist, light without being too bulky. The modes all work easily. The compass seems a little on the cheap side, but for the price and the uniqueness of this item, I would definitely recommend it as a gift to the gadget guy in your life. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it seemed hard for my guy to realize he was shining it in my eyes far too often. It's not a good idea to talk with your hands while you're wearing this, unless you want to irritate someone!

The running light definitely shines bright, the 1000 lumens is no joke. It has a few different modes, which is great for adjusting to different situations, and the rechargeable battery is a nice touch. But the overall feel? Just okay. The nylon band feels rough against the wrist, not really what you want for long runs or hikes. Plus, the built-in compass makes an annoying rattling sound, which takes away from the experience. The 3D-printed case adds to the bulkiness and makes it feel like it’s still in the prototype stage.Overall, it’s a neat concept, but it’s not quite there yet. It could use some refining to make it more comfortable and practical for outdoor activities.
