The assortment of tools is wonderful and their quality is on point. The included case is a nice touch. The only thing to be aware of is that the opening at the bottom of the larger diameter needle is the same size as the openings at the bottom of all the other needles but the smallest. So this set probably won't work on cords larger than 550. For 550 cord and smaller this kit is more than adequate, and a bargain compared to purchasing even any two of these tools separately.

This is a handy set of tools for making decorative stuff from paracord. Will make it a lot easier making the Monkey's Fist knots I like to do with my arthritic fingers.

It's a good value if you only plan to make 10-15 simple Paracord bracelets. A couple of the tools are more sturdy than that but the smaller pieces are will not hold up to heavy use.

Great, easy to use, but be sure you're ok with only 1 of each size. You figure they would at least include 2 of the same size to use at one time but nope. And the little hot iron thing works way better than i thought but hold it to long to the heat and the handle will be just as hot in about 2 min

If used for intended purpose I have no doubt they are perfect BUT I was threading a smaller size cord so I had to drill and tap the threaded end of the units to accept the size of cord I was using.Overall the units are strong and suitable for their intended purpose.

I used these immediately and made a paracord bracelet for my husband and melted and finished the ends with the smoothing tool. I really appreciate having the right tools to have professional results. I’ve used the different sized fids to add special lacing and it was quite easy. Would definitely recommend them to others.

some reviews had me worried so the first thing i did out of package was to cut 550 paracord diagonally, burn it, spread it w/ paddle, and then twist it into one of the 5mm (OD) fids. it screwed in. it held tight enough for threading and tying.there is really no way to mess up a metal spreader.the needle i have been looking for on the cheap for non paracord crafts, so bonus.the case i fully expect to fall apart and i have many pockets and compartments to store fids and needles, if the case lasts then thats another bonus.i recommend this product for crafters who can cut paracord or latigo into points.

These are a great quality, real heavy duty. Good to have an assortment of sizes. One reviewer mentioned the internal diameter is too small for paracord. I use Mil-Spec 550 cord and the internal diameter is fine for me. The only ones that don't handle it are the smallest one and the eyed needle, but those two are perfect for Type I, micro-cord, or 650 coreless cord. The other ones are large enough even for double layered paracord if you are accustomed to working with fids and 550 cord. For double layer you just have to melt the ends together cut the melt at an angle and it threads wonderfully. I don't like the larger diameter fids because they leave too much of a gap behind, so these are perfect. As for the single pieces of cord, it seems like a normal fit to me. I have attached some pictures to show the double layered, single cord, coreless through the needle eye, and the Type I cord in the smaller fid. Nice assortment that fits in a tidy little case, and a great buy for the price.
