Well built but not good for speed cubing. The color starts to fade adding to the challenge and also forces you to put it down when it gets frustrating.

The difficulty of this cube tends to depend, in my experience, on the temperature of the room. If it's cold in the room, it takes longer for it to warm up and change color, whereas if it's warmer in the room, the color change happens much more quickly. The cube is certainly not meant for speed, but it is based on the newer Rubik's models that turn much easier than early models. It's the same quality you'd expect from some newer Rubik's brand cubes, so nothing to worry about there. It's a fun little challenge, so if you're bored with a regular cube, this might be worth a pickup.

This is a fantastic toy to fiddle with when you need something to keep your hands occupied. I have this horrible habit of picking at my cuticles if there isn't something to keep my hands occupied. The squares are actually plastic inserts so I don't need about "worrying" the sides bare. I love how these reveal the colors only when they're heated, and I took it with me to my work, and one of my customers did their best to solve it before the colors faded to black again. Did pretty good, only three squares he couldn't get by the time he gave up.10 outta 10 would totally recommend for anyone who wants a fidget toy or a nice puzzle.

(Quick Summary: I highly recommend this cube for beginners or for just anyone who wants a fun little puzzle that they can throw on their shelf in a home or office to use as a conversation starter. The cube is sturdy and of course it has the nostalgia of being an actual Rubik’s cube.)Now, of course by my title, you should understand that this is NOT a speed cube. So if you plan on buying this in hopes to beat a record or improve your speed cubing time, I wouldn’t recommend it.NOW… with that being said. The cube is actually built very well in my opinion. Compared to the old and other “sticker” versions, this cube is actually turns very well. I label it a sticker version only because that’s what I’ve seen others label it as. However, it doesn’t actually use stickers. The cube uses tiles in place of stickers. So, you don’t have to worry about them peeling over time or fading.Next on the checklist is its ease of movement/speed and its ease of use. Like I said.. it isn’t built like your average speed cube. However, it actually is very good considering the fact that it isn’t built the same way as all of the others. You can actually modify this cube. Under the center tile on each side, if you pull off that tile, you can use a screw driver to tighten or loosen the cube to make it a little bit more personalized to how you “cube.”With all of this in mind, I would say that this cube would be great for beginners interested in just learning how to solve a cube, or just as a small gift to give your kid just to let them mess with, as it is something different and also allows them to exercise their brains while trying to solve it. The cube is very sturdy unless you loosen it up too much, then the cube will pop a corner off if you turn to hard/fast on a corner cut. This cube would also be great just to buy for yourself, just to mess with, or even just to throw on your shelf in your home or in your office at work. It’s actually a super cool/fun conversation starter. Non cubers literally always come ask me if I can solve a cube when they see me messing around with mine. They always end up mind blown when I solve it in front of them. lol

The concept is super fun. I don't even solve cubes. Now you'll ask why I even bought this. the reason is simple, to spite my friend whose entire personality is solving cubes. there's not a time I don't hear that annoying fast-clicking noise cubes make, followed by him asking to shuffle it. with this cube, it takes him longer to solve, so it's a little more bearable. Though I would say, one of the squares was slightly angled, which triggered my OCD. otherwise, this is a great gift to get for those guys who keep asking to shuffle the cube every 12.5 seconds.

My oldest is a cubing freak and can solve every cube he has purchased all the way upto the 8x8.This cube took him such a long time to solve and now that he has solved doesn’t want to try it again. lol. It sitting solved on his chest of draws and he said it’s the hardest cube he’s every attempted

Het wit/oranje blokje kwam al gebroken aan. Hierdoor draait de cube niet goed, omdat het plastic gebogen is.Op deze manier heb je er niets aan.
