Rubbermaid always has quality products, IMO. I’ve been very happy with every container for kitchen or storage ever purchased. Price is a bit steep, but they last!

Nice bins for storing items. They stack very well. One of the lids was missing a latch. I contacted support and they sent me a replacement latch. I am very pleased with the item and the customer service!

Jeez was I disappointed with this item - and not because they are not sturdy, or the locking doesn't work. But the PRICE.Totes are large, and when you need a bunch of them having them delivered from the internet is the EASIEST way. I was so excited for these totes to come in. Who doesn't love a good tote, and with the craze of clear totes I though these would be a no brainer. I bought the largest size in a set of 4.They are not as deep or as wide as I thought, the lid doesn't give any room at the top, in fact, it takes room away by having to fit just slightly under the rim of the tote. For the price, these are no good. If they were cheaper (like wayy cheaper), I think I'd have a different opinion. They are sturdy, they will protect items inside, they are clear, they are light to carry, and they stack nicely. But at over $30 per tote, you're better off going into your local chain store and picking out something else. Which is what I ended up doing and found bigger and cheaper.I still have these totes. I did not return them - I mean their still bulky and who would want to haul these in somewhere to return? Not me.

I've ordered two sets of four (8 total). I saw the reviews about broken parts and lid handle problems so I had the advantage of being careful with them from the start. There is no packing material at all and the box is extremely flimsy. Both boxes arrived damaged. Having said that, however, the totes/lids were not damaged. In my first shipment I did find a piece of tote plastic floating around inside one container but could never locate where it broke off from so I assumed it was fodder from the factory. So I have 8 working totes/lids, no problem.1. The 66QT is a good size. Big but manageable. In some of mine I'm storing paper files (heavy) and they are manageable.2. The lids DO NOT seal. (No gasket, o-ring, positive distributed hold-down, etc.) Lids lock on the ends only. So if you are looking for something that seals completely, these are not it. The lids are fine for keeping out minor (indoor) dust but I would not think they could keep out moisture or bugs. For example, if you are going to store clothing in your attic, I recommend putting the clothing in a plastic trash bag (sealed) and then store the trash bag in the container for easy stacking and prevention of damage to the trash bag.3. The lids are difficult to remove and you will need some finesse to get them off. (Pull up on one end of the lid by the handle until it releases.)4. They would look nicer if you could get the stickers off but ... oh well, you can't without tremendous effort.5. The built-in (molded) handles in the totes are strong and very useful.6. They are made in the USA!!!!

Great bins, except the labels are difficult to remove and the lid clasps are a poor design. I trusted the brand, and they've disappointed me.I used a rag soaked with Auto Zone engine degreaser and placed it on top of the label, then used a plastic "razor blade" tool to remove them. Don't waste your time with WD-40.Once I cleaned them, I found the lid clasps to be of a sub-standard design for Rubbermaid. They're difficult to clasp and release. My next bin purchase will require a hands on test before I buy. ,

For the price of a nice pair of sneakers I was able to consolidate 5 messy boxes, make an overflowing drawer usable, reclaim another full drawer and finally get my closet doors to close. Just looking at how organized my closet is feels so good and they’re so sturdy they’ll last for years and years. I also didn’t have any problems with the latching mechanism like some of the other customers.

The bins are very good quality. The lids are very tight and may be difficult to open, but they keep the items in the bin safe and secure from any outside elements such as moisture.

Storage container was damaged during shipment. One of four containers was severely cracked. We did not return item to be replaced because we needed to pack our items quickly. We then proceeded to use the three other containers and decided to move forward and take the loss of money. The containers were not packed heavily. I went to pick up one of the good three remaining containers and the snap handle came off in my hand. It had only been snapped closed approximately three times. Sturdiness and durability certainly were not a feature with this product. We tried pushing, hammering, and shoving the snap handle into place with no success. I do not recommend this Rubbermaid product. We were very disappointed and not satisfied. The Sales Support Manager responded to my issue regarding my damaged tote. I called her using the telephone number supplied by Amazon. It took a several days for her to respond with an email telling me that I would receive a Visa gift card to replace my damaged tote. We are very happy that Rubbermaid stood behind their product because we always chose their company as a first choice when purchasing this type of product. All is good and we will continue to use Rubbermaid in the future.
