I purchased this for my little grandchildren for when they came to visit so that they could reach the bathroom sink to wash their hands. Afterwards, it folds up easily and compactly.

Got this for our laundry room to reach things on the top shelves. There's not a daily need to do so, so I wanted a step stool that had a small footprint and could stow away flat, but yet I obviously also want one that's safe and sturdy too. This fits the bill perfectly.Folded flat, it slides out of the way and out of sight next to the washer.Opened up, the top snaps and locks into place and is ready to use in 2 easy steps - - - open it up then snap the top in place. It's small. That's just what we want, but if you're looking for something with a large stepping area, this isn't it.There's room enough for my feet. My husband's size 12 feet hang off the front and the back. That doesn't matter in our case, because his size 12 feet also comes with height enough that he doesn't need this step stool at all. Just as a side note, though the size of the stool is a bit small for my husband, he does say that the heft of it feels sturdy for him and not wobbly or unsteady at all.

It's as good as you expect from Rubbermaid. I weigh over 170 lbs. and I can jump (lightly) up and down on this step stool and it doesn't budge. Also, I was pleased that it does not have the red logo that appears on the product page photos.

Lightweight, easily folded, and has no-slip top. Seems quite sturdy. I weight less than 140 lb and it works extremely well for me.

My elderly mom is short and has trouble reaching into her kitchen cabinets. She asked me to find a step ladder or something. However, step ladder are too heavy for mom to maneuver. So I found this Rubbermaid step stool on Amazon and it looked like a good option to try. It's lightweight, compact size, made of sturdy plastic w/good stable design, has rubber in the right places so it doesn't slide on floor. Plus it's made by reputable Rubbermaid, so it's probably made correctly.I gave it to mom and she loved it. Perfect little size -- she can tuck it next to the fridge. She uses it often and it works perfect. She's very happy with it and I'm happy that she's happy. So it's a win - win.

This stool is exactly what I was looking for to help my granddaughter reach the bathroom sink. The room is small, and this easily folds down completely fat and surprisingly thin. When open it is sturdy, and the perfect height for a three or four year old at the sink. Perfectly stable as well. I'm very happy with it. I'm sure I will use it in other areas as the grandkids grow, and I like being able to slip it right into the side of the cabinet once it's folded flat, or beside the toilet. It hides easily!!Folded flat it is just over an inch wide and about 17 inches tall, by 13. Its top is 9x12, at the base 10x13. I found I have to push very firmly to lock it in place when I open it into a stool, but once locked it stays well. Theres a very light image of a lovk and arrow to show me where to push to lock it (it's onvious what to do, but this image needs to be bolder anyway), and an image of an open lock and arrows to show you where to push to unlock it. The base has little rubber feet. As you open the top to fold it flat, the sides fold themselves in. The top stays up and it is thin and long for storage, so you don't need much space at all, but the space must be at least 17" deep or tall.Very sturdy, difficult for me to tip, and not slippery at all.
