I used this strip to adapt a 2" dust collection port on a sander to standard 2.5" dust collection fitting. Note that there is no adhesive on this, but I was able to easily cut a strip that would wrap around the port on my sander and get enough rigidity to attach and clamp my 2.5" dust collection fitting.

I used it on a boat trailer tag to make it flexible in case I was backing the trailer up and hit it with something it would give some!
