Having just moved and due to the configuration of our laundry room, our gas line was installed in a sidewall instead of the back wall, which resulted in it being too close for comfort to our washing machine. If/when our washing machine gets overloaded, it shakes, rattles and moves and knowing a gas line was right there and could get knocked into wasn't something I was comfortable with. After calling plumbers to have the line moved, I realized the cost was so high I needed to find another way to make it work.I had stumbled on the bumper and the size was exactly what I was looking for and it was in the Amazon warehouse, and was right in my budget. I have no idea how a bumper is supposed to be, but for my purposes, it's heavy and well made. It's a solid piece of rubber. The 4 holes were great options and allowed me to position how I needed and attach to my studs. If using for a dock, it accommodates a large bolt, for my purpose, I used a flat washer to reduce the needed size of the screw that I used.So far, my washer hasn't moved, if it does, I won't panic now as I know this solid, heavy duty, 20" piece of rubber is protecting the gas line from being knocked around.

Very heavy duty...look like they will last forever. Bought these to bolt to the back of our flatbed to protect the bed and our loading dock...I'm sure they will outlast the truck.
