It sort of works. I live tiny and needed something to let me put my puzzles away when not actively working on them. I was also having an issue with the cats sliding my half done puzzle off the table! The rubber backing on this totally fixed that issue. Now I am not having to repeatedly rework the corner that was slid onto the floor!However, packing it away is less impressive and the reason for only three stars. The inner tube is about two inches shorter than the mat, so make sure that everything is within the printed line on the mat before you start rolling. A tube that was slightly longer than the width of the mat would work better.The velcro straps were packed inside the tube and they do a decent job of holding the roll, but it gaps significantly in the middle so be cautious of that.The bag is utterly useless because it is too small. It wasn’t made wide enough to accommodate more than the empty tube. It doesn’t even come close to being able to fit the tube, mat and partially completed puzzle. So if you want something you can store in a bag that will keep all if your puzzle pieces safe, look elsewhere.

Even though it did came folded despite the description saying it wouldn't which is the only reason I took a star. The end result was still a good product the mat did lay down flat and we were able to solve our puzzle and stored it in between the times we were not working on it, which is excellent when you have a 2 and 5 year old who want to be involved.

Un peu déçue,j ai besoin de conserver le modèle du puzzle dessous afin de déposer mes pièces.Aussi ,lorsque je roule le puzzle avec le tube et le tapis, tout se passe bien ,mais impossible de mettre le tube dans son sac de transport livré à cet effet.trop petit !

Haven't tried it to roll up a puzzle yet. But the material is nice and doesn't catch the pieces like felt mats often do. The size guides aren't always going to be exact for your puzzle but are a handy little guide while doing to edges to give at least some idea of where things might go.It's easy to get out and pack away.

I gave this to a friend for Christmas and he is still raving about it- this item is so easy to use and move around. The size is perfect and very functional. Will buy again for myself and for gifts for folks that like to do puzzles.

Even though it is made for puzzles, it’s perfect for carrying quilt pieces back and forth to class. Several of my colleagues got one too and we all enjoy using it.

When I roll it up, the middle wants to poke out making it a bit of a challenge to roll. But that could just be me needing to practice at it. Some puzzle pieces fell out the first time I rolled it. Not a big deal, I just need to learn it better. The puzzle doesn't mess up too bad. A little fixing has been required of me but it's not like I have to redo the whole thing or the pieces are bent. Overall I like it. Seems pretty easy to bring with me. The size is good too.
