PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These tuners feature a thumbwheel locking function to keep your strings securely in place. This prevents string slippage and also enables you to cut off your excess string. You don't have to wrap the string around the posts several times like you do with an non locking machine tuner. Simply thread the string though the hole in the peg, then twist the thumbwheel to secure it in place. Simple and effective, and speeds up re-stringing.
The new sleek design and smooth 1:18 gear ratio give you a great combination of tuning stability, accuracy and good looks.
These tuners have a sealed housing & mounting screw hole at 45 degrees.

I put these on a partscaster I built. They seem to work fine. As others have mentioned the enclosed screws are a size to small. I used the ones off of the original tuners which are a size larger. Great value for the money. Would I put them on a high end guitar? Probably not but for my needs they work great.

These tuners dropped into an older Ibanez without the slightest issue. I had the original tuners out already, so in under 5 minutes these were in and ready for stringing. The tuning adjustment so far is smooth and with better incremental precision than the original tuners. So they accomplish the intended result.My only gripe, and loss of one star is the packaging; the tuners were dumped loosely into a plastic bag together, with the locking pegs turned out, no individual protection, and that did mar the finish on some of the the tuners. For the price, I suppose it’s to be expected, but I’ve bought other locking tuners that were only a few $ more that were very well packaged. Even just a very simple box with slots to separate the tuners or a tiny bit of foam around them would have been welcome.

All parts neede were in the order - this was one of the easiest set of tuners to do an upgrade with on my Devlin electric guitar. Assembly on the headstock was a breeze plus no issues with the locks using a set of D'addario 9's. No slippage on tuning - buy 'e cuz you are gonna love 'em!

Locking is dead on. Screw holes didn't line up exactly on the back of my jackson dinky, "could of been the guitar"? but was able to make it work. Better than the stock Jackson tuners.Got a second set and these & fit my new jackson king V perfectly. Holes on back lined up exactly and the quality seems even better than the last set. The threads were extremely precise. Super happy and would recommend.Will buy again.
