Not a fan of these, the plastic is very thin and not of good quality and can break easily when you're trying to close the connector and get a good sealOverprices ones from RadioShack are of much higher quality, and those have two metal pieces to make contact with the wire you're tapping, this product only has one such metal piecedon't get me wrong, they do work, but there's better stuff out there, I wouldn't trust something like this in my car, broke a couple when installing, will look for another brand next time and avoid these 100pack cheapies

Does the job, just not as sharp as it needs to be, and takes a great effort to close because of it.

About every 3-4 does not close tightly. There is a clip on one end that is supposed to snap over a latch on the other. I've noticed that some of these do not line up correctly and others are just not built such that the snap will work. When that happens, placing the male shielded connector holds the two halves together, but one then needs to use electrical tape to ensure the tap stays shut. That defeats the purpose of of tap.Holding the tap with a small regular pliers, I can reach into tight areas and tap a wire. Sure made installing a stereo and backup sensors a lot easier.

Use these often as a quick connection point that can be disconnected and later reconnected. No tap is as good as a solder joint however.

I love the ease that T-Taps and quick connects offer. Worked as described. they were a great buy in my estimation.

So cheap in price! Cant believe 100 of these for about 6 bucks. These are better connectors then the ones without using a tab. It will last MUCH longer than the regular wire crimp ones. Also makes switching wires and testing easier.

Quality and work as you would expect. I'd advise using a pair of pliers to close the ttap around the wire for the best secured connection

I used these to tap into automotive wires that looked to be 18 or 20 gauge. They worked well. They provide a port into which you can plug a blade type connector. For some reason those aren't as common as spade connectors, but they're not any more expensive.

I can't buy these locally. They work great. I prefer these T-Tap connectors over other products. You can actually take your voltmeter to check if you have a good connection before inserting the spade into the slot.
