Went to use it for basting a few racks of ribs. As always Ill wash new items and was surprised and really dissapointed to have bristles coming out. Here is a photo of a few. I only ran water on it and started manipulting the brush to rins all of the bristles. The thing was shedding like an animal. Really couldnt believe the cost too. A lot of prices are more than they should be. This was ok but the quality was one star.

Exactly what my husband had been talking about (or hinting) for weeks before his birthday! Very well made with pretty wood! Looks great hanging in our galley instead of shoved in a drawer!

This is so sturdy you could probably fight off attackers, or hungry guests, with ease. It feels more like a weapon than a spatula... Why not both?? Very well made, buy it.

Great brush for reaching into a hot grill without burning yourself. Sturdy wooden handle. I washed it before and after first use and felt that an unusually large number of bristles fell out. I expected a little bit of shedding, but not this much. Hopefully the shedding will stop after a couple of uses.
