My truck (2003 Ford F-150) doesn't like to start when the temperature gets down to negative double digits Fahrenheit--which is a good portion of the winter where I live (North Dakota). I slapped one of these on the bottom of the oil pan, and as long as I leave it plugged in, the old Ford starts right up, even when it's minus 25 Fahrenheit.

Borrowed the spare timer plug to test this out. I wouldnt leave it plugged in all night just have a timer set to maybe an hour and half before you leave for work and your oil should be nice and liquid no problem. The pad puts out good heat, very sticky so make sure you want it where you plan to leave it and place it carefully. Install couldnt be easier just peel the backing off the sticky side, make sure your oil pan is clean where you are placing this and slap it on. The rubber? Or whatever the material is is flexible enough to allow install in a curved spot but not too sure about being placed on ribbed areas definitely a good quality. Plugged it in and functions like a terrarium heating pad gets up to temp and stays there. Good price for a 2 pack one on my oil pan and one on the trans pan. While placing this I noticed my block heater is starting to seep a bit so time to replace that too.

Used for a block heater during a freeze overnight and didn’t have any issues. Successfully kept things warm enough, hot to the touch. Only used once though so i don’t know how long they last
