the hemocytometer i received appears to be either a second or defective. i sent an email addressing my "concerns" but received no reply. can't recommend this vendor from my experience, your mileage may vary.

I used to be an actual Biologist. During the lock down homeschooling era I bought this for my son to do backyard science. It worked like a champ. Maybe even better than a few I had in lab. Combine this with the concave slide, and a decent microscope, and you are set to run all sorts of experiments with your budding scientist.Highly recommend.

I use this product for estimating bacterial cell counts in solution and it works very well. Considering its cost and the fact a person could easily spend 5x as much, this is a great product and highly recommended.

We got the kit to do yeast counts in our brewery. This is pretty much the industry standard & while you can find lower quality kits, and certainly more expensive kits, these guys have the happy balance of providing, as previously stated, industry standard materials at extremely reasonable prices.
