The RPM ESC Cage for the Mamba X series ESCs works with #010-0155-00, #010-0155-01, #010-0155-02, #010-0155-03, #010-0155-04, #010-0160-00, #010-0160-01, #010-0161-00 & #010-0161-01. While our ESC Cage will fit a variety of applications, they have been tested and guaranteed to fit the following TRA vehicles in stock form only Stampede 44, Slash 44, Slash 44 LCG, Slash 2WD, Slash 2WD LCG, & Rally. Also fits the following vehicles as long as TRA #3725 Mounting Plate (stock item on VXL models) is used Rustler, Stampede 2WD & Bandit.

mamba max is slightly smaller. but this works just fine. added to my slash i call lycan. this is from years ago.

After install, you can still wobble it a bit but it seems to be strong enough for the job.

I don't think enough people appreciate these cages. If you have a means to screw this to your chassis then I think these are the way to go. Plus they offer a secure way to mount the power switch. They hold the ESC securely and they look cool while doing it. I have 3 for my trucks running Sidewinder 3s, 2 for the Mamba X and 1 made for the Mamba X 8S but modified to hold a XLX2 to a Kraton 8S.
