This thing shot water right through the plunger tube, as if it were a bidet. Full stream came through. I was going to return it, but decided to use the rubber diverter blade and the new O ring on the new, non functioning diverter, to rebuild my old one. I rebuilt the old one with the rubber components from the new one, and now I have a functioning diverter again.
