The cover fits my flat slate grill nicely. However, only after a few months the original dark color is very faded and looks 10 years old. That said, it does the job of protecting my grill.

This was the recommended cover for my new grill purchase last summer (Royal Gourmet CC1830FC Charcoal Grill Offset Smoker). It does not fit the grill until you get a screwdriver and remove the smokestack from the lid. That's fine, I suppose, but if you grill often, then it adds an annoyingly time consuming (and hand dirtying) task TWICE to each grill use. If you're using this cover on a grill with no smokestack, then you're fine.More importantly, the cover is about the cheesiest, shoddiest, most disappointing material and construction I could imagine. Wherever there is a hard end on the grill, such as the edge of the front table (or any spot that's not flat!), the cover simply rips apart. This started happening as soon as the weather got colder -- I ordered this in July, so it lasted a couple months. I ended up wrapping my grill for the winter in a standard blue tarp from the hardware store, then wrapped the ripped cover around the tarp, essentially just using it for the Velcro pieces at the bottom to cinch the tarp and help keep it in place.The black fabric faded terribly. (I have black cushions on all of my outdoor furniture within feet of the grill, and they have never faded, so it's not merely a matter of placement in the sun.) I would care more about this aesthetic aspect if the cover wasn't already thrown away and discarded as useless.Complete waste of money.

La compré para un asador Masterbuilt de 36 pulgadas y le quedó perfecto con las charolas laterales abajo. La calidad es muy buena, se ve resistente y duradero. Estoy seguro de que protegerá muy bien mi asador.

I’ve tried several covers over the years. None with great success. This cover looks great and fit perfectly. The price was good. Appears to be well made. Haven’t had it long so I can’t attest to its longevity. But I expect it will fair well.

I shopped my stuff on the Royal Gourmet website before buying on Amazon. It cannot be purchased directly from Royal Gourmet.I bought their GB4000 griddle and checked the Royal Gourmet website to determine the correct cover for it. The CR4014 was the recommended cover, so I purchased it via Amazon.I already have a different size Royal Gourmet cover for a smaller RG griddle, and I can say that they are heavy-duty, highly water resistant, and very nice looking.The CR4014 is of the same construction, so I anticipate the same performance.There's one caveat: it fits the griddle perfectly IF . . . you remove the propane tank.I have a Royal Gourmet 22" griddle which is just a smaller version of the 36" griddle. The recommended cover works and fits great -- without removing the propane tank, so high marks and kudos all around. I and very happy with that cover.The CR4014 looks just as good and will probably perform just as well, but I'm rather annoyed that they didn't take the propane tank into account. I'll have to figure out if they make a slightly larger cover that will do the job adequately.

The grill comes in pieces in a box as you can imagine, and it is a bit of a job putting it together (at least by yourself). That is what I expected though so it wasn't a disappointment for me. The grill works great, and especially for the price you pay. It has 2 side vents, a smoke stack and an adjustable coal pan for adjusting heat, and it works like a charm. I've had it for just over 2 months now and it works perfectly! Very happy with my purchase. I was able to buy this, plus the cover (which was also great), for the same price as a regular charcoal grill with all the same features. The only ting I want to point out is that it isn't constructed of thick metal. The metal seems a little more thin and flimsy than other. more expensive grills I've had in the past, but once it's put together its sturdy enough that I don't worry about the integrity of the grill. I'm very happy with the purchase.
