I bought one of these 25 years ago at Hobby Lobby for watercolors. I loved it and used it, and it became my #1 preference for a watercolor palette (I use the tube watercolors). I quit watercoloring and got busy with other things, the years went by, and now that I’m getting back into watercolors, I wanted more of these. There’s no name brand or company name printed on these things, no idea who made it, no idea what it was called, and I just had to hunt for it. As far as I can tell, this is the only company that makes them. I won’t use anything else for watercolors except this palette. The individual cups keep your concentrates clean and from drying out or spilling because you only remove the cap for the ones you’re using. The extra compartments in the middle are perfect for mixing or for using larger brushes. You can make watercolors last forever if you have one of these because it keeps them sealed. I transfer a little bit of raw paint out at a time for mixing or for putting in the larger compartments for bigger brushes to pick up. Well, I want more of these palettes. I want enough that I can have one of every color of my watercolors in individual compartments so they’re always available and ready. If one color starts getting used up, add more watercolor from the tube. I have some tubes of watercolor that are now 25 years old, they still work like they’re brand new because I’ve only ever used this kind of palette, and it’ll make your watercolors last forever.

It’s great to have 12 cups right there together. I wish they were just a little bit larger. It’s hard to get a fan brush in them. The caps fit very tightly.

Each cup comes out for easy clean up, but kept my colours that I mixed up without going moldy and for over a year!Fantastic product.

I love this little tray with cups and kids to hold my watered down Brushos. Very convenient. The lids are super tight, so be careful taking them off if you have something very watery like brushos in them.
