I’m usually a size 6, medium (5’3, 130lbs) but ordered a large after reading the reviews. Glad I did as the large fit just right.

I recently got into paddle boarding and have been struggling with finding rash guards that fit well and are quality! I found the sizing to be true to size, even though some reviews say this runs small. I ordered a medium and it fit snug (in a good way, water sports clothing needs to be fitted not loose). I am 5’6” and 150 lbs and it was fitted in the arms and chest and snug in the belly but not constricting (totally comfortable). I wish this wasn’t so pricey but I know Roxy is a popular/trendy brand.. I feel like a teenager wearing this 😁 but it’s super cute and so far has held up for SUP.

Material seems great, I like the solid black colour, it’s light and comfortable and I think it’ll do the job; will report after the vacation. Sizing; I’m about 216 and 5’6ish (carrying most weight in my belly hips) and this size XXL is great. If I were bigger in the bust; it might be a different story.

Most reviews are saying to size up (some are saying size up two sizes), but I'm not convinced that will get you the best fit for a swim top. I (5'10", 165 ish lbs) bought a size large (I'm generally a size medium, or 6-8 in jeans), and while it fits fine as a fitted tee, I don't believe it's a tight enough fit for swimming or being in the water. Water is going to balloon underneath it causing drag or difficulties swimming (plus, I might accidentally flash other beachgoers). This should fit like a tankini top - probably not as tight as a wet suit, but enough where it will stick to your body while submerged.However, I will say that the top is well made and seems like it will last (although the graphic on the shirt might not, oh well). It's also long enough, even when paired with Roxy's fairly low-rise board shorts. I will update the review after I've used it a few months.
