[TLDR;] Does the job! As others have mentioned, it's a little clunky. Overall, recommend.Tested it out on some thick old curtains that have been wrinkly since the day I put them up (2 years ago - don't judge). I used "super high" mode after the other modes didn't seem to be strong enough, or at least not for my patience level. The water lasted about 9 minutes on that mode and it was enough time to de-wrinkle the curtain (see the before and after pics - ignore the discoloration at the bottom, this is from the curtain being propped up on my air conditioner all summer and getting sun-bleached).You can hit the trigger twice to hold it in the "on" position rather than squeezing the whole time. That's a nice feature, but it's also pretty easy to accidentally hit it a third time while using it, which deactivates the feature. So, I had to restart the machine several times. Not a big deal, it just involves hitting the trigger twice again. But to make it less wonky, they should have put some kind of barrier between the handle and the trigger to prevent this. Or a more ergonomic / grippy handle. The water is easy to fill, once the tank is removed. Removing the tank is a little clunky. They should have a pull tab or something, would help out a lot. That said, the machine is designed to use regular tap water - not distilled. Good, because seriously who has the energy to deal with that nonsense. You just clean the mineral build-up in the machine out by running it a with half water and half white vinegar, then again with only water. Easy peazy.

Love it's power in standing my items. It is a little heavy, but even with a bad shoulder I did well. It works well. It heats up fast and removes wrinkles well.I. It was worth my money.

This baby is easily the “Cadillac” of garment steamers, and I haven’t even used it on an actual garment yet! I purchased it because I’m swapping out all the Stone Age window treatments in my house for newer, better looking drapery, and nothing arrives more wrinkled in the mail than curtains/drapes that have made the trip on a slow boat from China. Typical Rowenta quality, well made and fairly heavy (2.95 lbs), despite being described as “lightweight” by the manufacturer. At 1,875 watts, it heats up within seconds, and has several heat settings: low, medium, high, super high, and boost, with super high being most effective on those wrinkled drapes from China. It works horizontally as well, so would make an excellent “2 for the price of 1” appliance; you really wouldn’t necessarily need a regular clothes iron if you don’t do that much ironing, but if you do, I’d recommend the next model up, which includes a microfiber attachment intended to capture lint and hair while you’re ironing your garments. Easy to use straight out of the box, no setup or assembly needed. Just add water to the reservoir and plug it in. Decent value as well, generally about what other manufacturers are charging for a garment steamer of similar quality and capability. Considerations: it does take up a little real estate at 11.8” L x 8.66” W x 6.69” H; and the water reservoir is a measly 7.1 oz., which gets used up pretty quickly when you’re steaming 7’ H x 52” W drapery. A big plus is the 8.5’ cord, which is especially handy in a Stone Age house with electrical outlets few and far between. Highly recommended!

I’ve had it for a few months and this is a very good steamer. I’m able to remove wrinkles quickly and easily. It’s light enough, doesn’t taken a lot of space to store, and given the settings work as intended, I’m able to get the job done with few passes. The boost mode produces a lot of steam which is great for some stubborn fabrics.I’ve also used it as an iron and because the ironing plate is small, I’ve noticed it works best with light fabric items. Thicker fabrics require extra time. I am considering getting a separate iron just because it would give me more ironing surface and heat control in general.I frequently end up not using the attachment. I didn’t add much value in my experience, so I don’t think it was worth paying extra for it. I’ve used it for vertical steaming and not so much for ironing as it rubs against the fabric and moves it out of place.Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and I recommend.

i use it for my uniforms i don't trust dry cleaners worked in one and last thing i need is share the same washer with the rest of the neighborhood. i use medium heat and work great the bottle of water last me for 4 shirts and 2 pants. Is a bit heavy to hold with one hand so keep that in mind when gifting this to someone

Easy use and sturdy design. No water goes inside the device just the detachable resivoir. Multiple settings works well on various fabrics. Steam production is more than adequate for clothing that only require steaming. Heavy steam on jeans with light starch works well to rid most wrinkles in jeans. Easy to use.

I used to have a Conair for three years before it broke. I ordered this one and have been extremely pleased with how quickly it heats up and how smoothly the steaming process goes.

Once I received the box it was obviouse that its been opened before! By how taped by amazon sticker.I thought ok maybe it was just opened but untouched to found out it has many scuffs! Means it has been used for sometime!! I couldn’t return it because I was in urgent need of it . The steamer itself is a gem! You can iron the shirt sleeves to give it it smart sharp look.Edit review

I purchased this to replace a Conair that I used every day. I absolutely love that thing as it was lightweight and very easy to use. I also have a standup Rowenta Steamer that I use from time to time, but the Conair was my every day baby. I feared this steamer would be too heavy to use every day with the water in it, and it is quite a bit heavier than the Conair but it is so powerful. I can’t even be mad about the weight because it works so wonderfully. I wish it held a little more water however I do understand that would make it even heavier so I may have to refill it quite frequently, but that’s OK . I love that it can work as a steamer and even as an iron… if you need something that you can use daily - just buy it.
