Don't like that once you recessed the base that you can't use the mitre, other than that it works.

Very nice 1/4" slab measures 9 3/16" by 4 11/16" with 2 included aluminum shims--larger hole for 1 1/4 router bit. Unfortunately, this won't mount a regular size router.I foolishly based my purchase on a reviewer who stated he mounted a 2 horse router with it--maybe a 2 horse trim router. I had to return it.

This is exactly what I needed to turn my 2hp plunge router into a table lift router.

It could have been great but the mounting holes had to be modified to accept a Makita router

This items required over 3 hours worth of work to measure, re-drill and chamfer holes to adapt a standard 1 1/2HP Ryobi router. The provided pre-drilled holes were not accurately placed and off-center. Mounting screws were also the wrong pitch for a Ryobi router base. Would never buy this again or suggest it to anyone.

I read another review where the buyer received a cheapo plastic item. I certainly did not. The item I got was very good quality and sturdy. To be fair, the protractor slide is a bit cheap and rather silly, since it can only move 2 inches or so when the plate is mounted flush to a work surface. But overall this exceeded my expectations and I look forward to using it.

This is a dado saw cover plate. I think they might have a couple models available, be sure you know what one you are purchasing. The cover is constructed from low density plastic - pretty thick stuff. The orange section is the bread and butter of the part. The black cover plate is a thin plastic designed for easy removal.Mine fit with a little bit of shaving required. Overall the part is OK, I don't have any issues with it.

The JCFANTS Aluminum Router Table Insert Plate is a solid router table insert plate. Made of cast aluminum with a red anodized finish it looks good, and it fits my Makita trim router perfectly. There are metric scales on either side of the plate, but no SAE measurement scales. The two blue anodized inserts fit pretty much flush into the plate, but the screws they provided stick up above the insert. Considering the quality of the kit you'd expect the screws to be right, but to get it to work you'll have to find new screws that may or may not work or rebore the countersinks to get the supplied screws to fit.The black bushing is a bit crude, but serviceable. The only other hardware supplied are four small wood screws to mount the plate to a wood table. For the price it's a good router plate and would have received a five star rating, but the supplier didn't sweat the details. How hard is it to make sure a screw fits properly?
