My son had the well known version of this game. We had a family reunion and I was in charge so I asked my son if we could borrow this for the party.Well.....unfortunately someone's child ended up using it as a trampoline when they weren't being supervised and ruined my son's game.So I ordered this to replace his other one. It's a LOT more expensive than his original one, but I wanted to make things right AND I wanted a sturdier version so it would last this time.Seems to be good so far. No complaints.

My son loves this roundnet set better than the popular yellow brand. The frame is solid and holds shape much better than the competition.

The game plays well and is fun for a variety of ages. It does help to move the net around on the grass otherwise the grass will be trampled in a circle around the game. The feet install into the white ring pieces and it's difficult to remove once installed. The plastics are sturdy but the net won't survive young kids stepping on it so this game is only for kids that know better because the first thing a little kid will do in a public space is think it's a trampoline...The net tension affects rebound of the ball, and the PSI of the ball affects handling. Having such a low PSI setting makes inflation of the ball trial and error. Setting the tension of the net evenly across the entire net seems a bit inconsistent as the net can stretch and be installed with variations.I would like to see a reinforced thicker outer ring to make the net consistently tensioned when installed.Great game for the beach or park and 2v2 is perfect. Cheaters will manipulate the ball with carries, palm it, or use weird catch and throw techniques. You may also run into illegal body blocks, tripping, and uncle drew getting mad and spiking the ball at me instead of the net.

This is a fun game for all ages. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble. The frame snaps together easily. The legs are easy to put on and are designed to pop off in case you fall on it. The net was a little tricky to get even and tight, but once you do, you can just leave it on and slide it in the trunk of your car until you aren't going to use it for a while. The carrying case is great but it was a little difficult to get everything back in. One negative is that the balls come uninflated but they do provide a hose and needle to inflate. That’s kind of goofy and a cheap small hand pump would work better and could be kept in the carry bag. Overall, though, this is a great game and a lot of fun.

This game is awesome. Assembly did not take long. The frame is a nice quality material and snapped together pretty quickly. It's also very sturdy. It did come with a carrying/storage bag however, as with most items, getting everything back into the bag - well, that's become the new how do you fold a map game. It took a lot of effort to get everything in the bag and honestly, if they just made it a big larger, it would be so much easier. But that is the only complaint I have. The balls that came with the kit were not inflated. So hopefully you have a compressor to inflate them. If not, it's not a huge deal, it does come with a needle and hose so you can get them inflated manually if you have to. We had a ton of fun playing this though. Literally, hours. Everyone of all ages can get involved and play with simple modifications. Enjoy the game and the time with friends and family because you will have tons of fun memories with this game.

Our family is very familiar with spikeball. We have been playing it at tailgating, the cabin, the beach, etc. for a long time. It is a great game for all ages. Being familiar with the game and having set up other games before, the set up was pretty straight forward for me. If you have not played before you may have to do a little trial and error regarding how tight to pull the net. It is a bit sturdier in nature than the name brand game that I am more familiar with. With that said, I am not sure that the value is quite as strong here (almost double the price of the more common game). If you're looking for a bit more robust version of the game this is a good upgrade. If you arent wanting to commit as much financially to the game until you try it out, there might be some better value plays out there.
