This stump ottoman is cute, it's actually bigger than I thought it would be (you can see a size comparison with my cat in my last picture, and he seem to like it, too). I'm surprised at how realistic it looks, when it arrived I didn't think it was really going to look like a stump, but it does. I'm thinking about using it for cat toys since my cat likes it so much. The cover does have cushion, if you want to use it to sit on,l. Although, I'm not sure I'd trust it with an adult weigh, but a kid could definitely sit on it.

This is a handy little storage seat, and cute. Perfect for a little one's room and tossing in some extra stuffies or toys, provided you can trust them to not stand on it. It claims to support 200 lbs. I wouldn't subject it to that for great lengths of time with any kind of angular force, being fiber board, but it can certainly withstand being used as a seat. The only draw back I have noticed is the lid requires you to stretch the fabric out before you can close it- you can't just place the lid on it and call it closed... so, kids may require some assistance. I would like it more if the lid didn't require that extra effort, but overall it's a nice storage stump/stool.The price is a little high as the exact item is about twelve to fifteen dollars elsewhere, shipped from China, but still within the ranges I've seen (as high as twenty), so I'll call it fair.
