Quality is great but a nightmare to assemble. Screws are too short and you need 3 sets of hands to assemble bc it fans out each time you try and attach the center plate. Also, the corners were bent in transit and had to manually bend them back to line them up causing them to chip the finish

Overall I like the cover, it is just what I needed. The rating is due to the fact that it comes in multiple pieces and you have to build it yourself. Once built it is strong and sturdy.

I got this to cover my Solo Stove Bonfire when the coals are low and I'm ready to go in. I don't like to leave my fire pit open when I'm done even if the coals are very low. You never know when a wind gust could pick up an ember. This is a little on the large side, but not bad. It does a good job at helping extinguish that last little bit of coal and the heat has not warped or caused any issues with this cover. Also having a domed shape, you can put a rain proof cover over your pit and the water will run off instead of collecting in the middle making a small pool. Once it has all cooled off of course. It came in several pieces and was very easy to assemble. Just remember to loosely put the screws together until everything is assembled then go back and tighten everything up and you will be fine. For the price its pretty good quality.

This review is for the Round Fire Pit Lid, 32" Metal Cover with Handle Fits for Bonfire Pits or Fire Tables, All-Weather Resistance Outdoor Firepit Accessory, Smokeless Fire Pit Cover Doubles as Tabletop. So I'm a bit unsure how they think this could be a table top as it's not flat LOL. It's not sharply sloped, but it needs to be slightly sloped or it's not going to properly shed rain. As a firpit cover I'm really happy with it though, it's light weight enough at 5.6 lbs for the 32 inch cover I can move it easily but it's heavy enough to stay put unless a really strong wind gets ahold of it. I'll be safe and keep it strapped down when I'm not using the firepit as we have a raised metal one and the handle is perfect to put a good bungee through it and hook to the legs. This is simple to assemble with the included tools/bolts/nuts, and it's delivered in a suprisingly small box LOL. I also like it's black, I'll give it a good spray coat of sealer before I expose it to the elements to extend it's good looks and service life.Regular price $ 54.99 per the listing for the 32 inch size and I'm good with it. But as I always say, watch for a sale/coupon, browse listings... and find your best deal.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

I have a Solo Bonfire with a 19.5” diameter opening. I ordered a slipcover to keep it clean and keep rain water out. However, with a good rain, the water would pool on top of the cover, and the cover would fall deeper and deeper into the opening of the fire pit, filling with more water. It was not good. I looked at the official Solo covers, and they were mega expensive. Then I found this one. It is slightly larger than the Solo Bonfire. It it fits really well. And it looks great. See the pic. Plus my soft cover still fits perfectly over the Solo Bonfire with this hard cover installed. Which creates a hard dome, and the water runs right off. Mission accomplished! Plus it was less than half the cost of the solo cover. Super easy to put together. Good instructions. Even came with the required tools. Now I can use this cover by itself. Or add the soft cover for further protection from the weather. Excellent.

I made a portable fire pit that is slightly smaller than the lid. I needed something to cover the pit so the ashes would not blow all over the place and could be contained. The fire pit lid cover fit it perfectly. I want something that was lite wieght and durable. I think I got it. Also very simple to put together, all tools were included. U can not put a price on safety.

This is definitely a solid lid. It was a little bit of a pain to assemble but once assembled it was good to go. The handle is small with very little gap between the lid and inside of the handle which makes it a tight fit for getting a mid size hand in between to place it on the pit or remove it. One other thing - be careful the edges are a little sharp

I've been looking for a lid for my 30" fire pit for a while, but most that were large enough were very expensive; one piece lids are usually about three times the price! This lid is made up of seven pieces (plus the handle) that are held together with nuts and bolts. But it's much more affordable so I decided to give it a try. Putting it together was not too difficult. But you need to do as they say--and don't tighten up the nuts until everything is together. (The description implies that you can take it apart and put it together easily but the bolts are a little too short and the nuts a little too small to do this often.) Once everything is tightened and the handle attached it is fairly rigid. It fits over my fire pit nicely and looks pretty good! My only negative is that the handle seems a little small and unsubstantial. If you were using a glove (as recommended) you would have a hard time getting your fingers into the handle. But for the price you're really not going to beat this fire pit lid.
