I was putting JK Rubicon shock on front of my XJ and realized the bar pin wasn't gonna come out of my old shocks.. This kit, though slightly over priced, was a life saver and possably gave me an extra inch of shock travel in the process...

The reason I purchase this is because I don't want to remove 2 rusty screws every time I need to remove the shock, now with this i have to remove 3, because the screw that replaces de cross pin dosnot has enough clearance

Work well but they orient the shock eye the wrong direction. Should not have a big effect as long as you are not articulating a whole lot. These brackets are super beefy though! And have a thick paint job. Possibly powder coat. Included hardware was not grade 8 so make sure you don't strip the 3/4 head on the bolt. For $20 I would for sure buy again!

Great product. Worked great on my 99 XJ and will definitely make changing shocks in the future much easier. I put these on my new shocks and then installed it all together and so far so good. Looks great as well. Definitely would make sure to paint the axle where it meets to prevent rust.
