Shocks are an improvement over stock for sure but as written in an older review the upper eyelet has a "washer" that is wider than the mounting bracket and needs to be cut or grounded down to fit. You get what you pay for really.

While these shocks will fit a 2019 Ford Ranger 4x4, I would not buy them again. The ram end of the shock has a welded washer that interferes with the upper mount. I ended up grinding the washer flat on both sides of the mount to keep it from rattling in the upper shock mount. There is no way to tighten up the upper mount bolt unless you do this. They also need a longer bushing in both top and bottom rubber isolators to keep from squeezing the mount during the tightening of the shock bolts. I ended up putting a washer inside and between the the mount and the bushing to tighten the shock bolt adequately. Pretty Micky Mouse...

Installed on a 2019 ford ranger. They are a improvement over stock shocks. Well worth the money. Best thing about them, perfect fit and can add a 1” shackle lift later.

There is big flange close to the upper mounting location, I assume to attach the dust boot. Not a very good design because this will clip your frame every time you hit a bump. Didn't even have a thousand miles on them before I replace them. I am glad the metal used for the shock is a lot softer than the metal on the frame of my truck, at least it took the brunt of the damage
