I ordered the Hunter Orange version and they are 27" x 27". I still think they are priced too high for a square of thin cotton, but it is what it is.I hand washed them in a sink and didn't notice andy color bleeding out from them, so that was good.I can't speak for the durability, as I haven't used them.Overall, they will work for my needs, but they should be much cheaper !

On the advice of some other reviews, I made sure to wash this bandana in the sink when I got it. In my case, it didn't give up any dye! Still very vibrant after a wash.

It's really Orange and not like the picture : solar orange. Good quality but i don't like the color

I bought four of these, 3 in white and one in "Safety Green". I actually was looking for new handkerchiefs, because the washing machine had eaten al of mine. I wanted something bigger and more sturdy than the usual, and learned that Rothco has solid-color bandannas, so these were ordered.When they arrived they seemed to have a lot of sizing in them, so I washed them on "Hot" to try and clean it out. I threw in a "color catcher" sheet, which was a good thing, as it came out Safety Green and the white bandanas had to be re-washed to turn them white again...As for why a sturdy bandana, they are multi-functional every day carry items, useable for slings, sweat rags, or tourniquets. The Safety Green one is useful for signaling; "Safety Green" is the preferred color for, among other things, the Amateur Radio Emergency Services.

It's a good size. I wear it as a face mask, and it works well. It's large enough to cover a large man's face.

Large, durable. I soaked it in cold vinegar-water overnight and then laundered it before use and it has been color fast and bright ever since. Not perfectly soft but certainly comfortable around my neck for four weeks on the Appalachian Trail. I'd buy it again and again.
