The top tray is so loud. I took the padding from the packaging and cut out a perfect circle and placed it in the loud top rack so that items didn't land so loud. I highly recommend you do this, adding the foam cushion into the top tray on your own.

My husband a bunch of readers and reading glasses that he stored all over the house. this organizer held them all in one place. love the tray on top and bottom for small items, like clippers, coins, etc. It is nicely made, sturdy, and attractive. It doesn't look cheap.

My husband has little nests of clutter all around the house. This little rack holds several pairs of reading glasses that were scattered over an end table. Now it’s simpler to dust, just moving the rack and not each pair of glasses.

I had about 10 pair of reading glasses cluttering my desk. This product was the perfect way to organize the mess. The great thing about it is it swivels, and it has a top and bottom tray to place other objects. For 10$, this was a fantastic purchase:

This Giffgiss glasses rack is a pretty good value ($10 at time of order). Prices of these racks seem to have come down quite a bit since the first one I got which cost more than twice as much. If you have a lot of glasses of any kind, this is a good rack to have. Best thing about it is it's got a larger rotating ring - about 8" in diameter - so will hold more than 12 pairs of glasses. It's all metal and comes in parts but assembly is simple, almost needing no tools but there is a hex wrench included. It's designed to have two trays, one on top, one on base to hold small loose items such as keys, watches, coins etc. Here I do have an issue with the base tray - first it's not very heavy so can feel unstable, second it's attached to the center pole with a screw on the bottom which sticks out a bit making the bottom uneven. They compensate this by providing 4 small round stick-on felt pads for the base to even things out but I find that rather cumbersome - so I just flip the bottom tray upside down - I don't really need two trays and this way the whole structure sits more securely. Anyway, overall this is a very functional product and the larger capacity is definitely a plus.

My husband puts the keys on top and his glasses on the stand. He loves it.
