The gasket arrived very quickly (about 4 business days) and was installed the same day. I have a 1973 John Deere 110 with a Kohler 8HP K181 engine. This is the gasket needed to do the 500 hour maintenance work on the engine’s head. The previous gasket was also a graphite-covered product and it came off without difficulty. I anticipate the same good results with this graphite-covered gasket in 500 hours time. When needed, I definitely will buy this type again.

Going to use it for my Kohler K161 rebuild coming up for my Cub Cadet Model 70. Looks like a very well made gasket. If not, them almost 60 year old tractors are so simple to work on. For those wanting to know. No the fire ring is not in the gasket. I didn't think it would be, but oh well. Still going to use it.
