2008 Hyundai Accent with automatic transmission. Product was delivered in 2 days and looks good quality.-- Day 1: read and understand the manual and parts provided. And searched info including panel job. So, I gathered several youtube clips and Hyundai forum post as supplement guide. Also I prepared 9.5mm drill bit.--Day 2: I completed installation of cc kit in engine room in 2.5 hrs. Manual was easy to follow except a little adjustment of cc servo braket because of abs module in my car. Then, to get through gourmet was hard part. I used shoes lace first, after piercing of long screw driver, which is comment on Hyundai Forum. Regarding wires connecting, you can follow only manual instructions, not others info, which would bring messy days.. Don't be too strict on color rather on location of a wire. For example, one brake sw wire behind brake pedal does not match color... don't worry just get them connected. Other than that, this product is so awesome which really looks oem switch. I feel it couldn't be better because my long time conceived project was done successfully.

I installed this in my manual transmission 2010 Hyundai Accent. I had little experience doing stuff like this but got it working in the end. Make sure you connect to the right brake wires. They're kind of hidden and don't match the picture. The instructions (available at [...]) were pretty accurate for everything else, thankfully. Tech support is friendly as well.Video of installed cruise control at [...]

Instructions are horrible. They are for a KIA so if you have a HYUNDAI the black and white pictures are useless. There is little on line information available. The instructions are something like: "Locate vehicle brake switch harness, connect red wire from harness to red wire from brake switch". What and where is this brake switch red wire? I can see the brake switch, no red wire there. Your guess is as good as mine. Pictures won't help not only because they're black and white but because they are not your vehicle. You'd need a Hyundai schematic to find the wires in question. I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about. I suppose they could be fake reviews from the seller as that is happening more and more these days. Definitely NOT recommended.

Very nice little kit for my son's 07 Accent w/automatic. Kit came with everything you need, installed pretty simply (about 2 hours) and works like a champ. I love the fact that Rostra is made in the USA.My chief complaints are the directions themselves... they tell you to find the blue wire behind the gauge cluster, but never tell you how to get that apart. You'll need Google or Youtube to figure out how to get to that blue wire. That's really nitpicking though, as the whole kit appears to be very well thought out and everything fits nicely where it's intended.I mounted the actual cruise control handle a little too high; it's hard to see it when it's mounted. I put it at about 9 o'clock and really should have done about 730... my son will have to memorize the set/resume functions as you really can't see them when driving. It's correctable if I pull the whole thing back apart, but no we didn't feel it was that big of a deal. But something to keep in mind when you install yours.

I installed this on an 2010 Hyundai accent. The lack of cruise is the only thing I don't like about the Hyundai accent 3 door hatchback. After taking an 07 accent on a 1600 mile trip I knew I had to find a cruise control solution. Enter the rostra cruise control kit. Installation was pretty straight forward and easy as long as you are confident with tools and basic auto wiring. There is an excellent write up on installing this cruise on the Hyundai forums on an accent. It made my install a breeze. It took me around 2.5 - 3 hours to install taking my time. The end result is awesome. Works as well as any factory cruise I have ever had. The control stick blends into the interior and looks stock. Definitely a must have if you plan on road tripping in a Hyundai accent.

Wonderful kit.It was a pain to install on a 2008 Hyundai Accent because the 12v console power did not match the picture. The instructions said to find it yourself. I finally had to get behind the fuse panel and use a voltmeter to find the right wire. But it all worked the very first time. I probably spent 8 hours on it, but it was worth it for me. Also, when I first opened the package, the throttle wire seemed way to loose, like it wasn't really attached to the motor, so I was concerned. But it was designed that way.

works great, just be careful when you install and don't tap the wrong wires or you will be sorry, the 1st one of these i has dyed after 3 years, but i think that is because when i installed it i tapped the wrong wire on the engine speed censer and im thinking that shortened its life.. all is wired correctly this time round and so fare so good!!
