Have it hanging on a sturdy bungee strap from the tree limb. Malinois and dalmation pull on it at the same time. So far holding up well for several weeks rough play.

My dog is a strong young lab mix and he loves playing tug of war with us with this toy. It's really sturdy and withstands with strong, sharp teeth. It's also long enough that our hands or not near his mouth.
