These work, and work well. I used 3/8" fiber rope and put the loop around a hook on the rafter in my garage and was able to suspend 215 pounds from the rope, with no indication it was ready to break. It was very easy to assemble.I recommend that you use a small cable tie at the very end of the rope you will be inserting into this fastener to secure the braids together so that the final protrusions that dig into the rope will not be able to simply slide through the braids. This will significantly strengthen your loop.You end up with an end loop that will never unravel, is super strong, and just looks neat and professional.

they go together well,,, but have'nt had chance to put them under load test....wish they were made out of metal

I got these clamps to secure the bottom of a rope climbing net and they worked and are holding up well to tugging.

I'm very happy with these. They have little barbs inside that dig into the rope so it can't pull out, and They are very strong!They're made from some sort of Glass/Polymer type plastic, so they're not flexible or brittle.These are awesome for making your own Boat lines!So Slick!
