My laundry drain was backing up. I bought some drain chemicals from home depot and that didn't do anything. I put this one in overnight and tested it next morning and not even a drop was overflowing. Pretty impressed tbh. Saved money by not calling a plumber to snake the drain.It does smell pretty bad when it is used so either have a high tolerance for sewage smells, plan on being out of the house, or do it overnight to sleep through the smell lolPros: It worksCons: sewage smells when used

It's really works in 5 minutes, my drain was stopped up in my bathroom,I tried getting it to open everything I was trying wouldn't clear that drainPlus went to a hardware store and got something that I through would work. I initially got this because the plumber who unclogged my upstairs shower recommended. I read in a review that it also can de-stain a toilet bowl, and low and behold when NOTHING else worked for my badly stained old toilet I tried it. Viola! Worked like a charm. Probably not the best for the environment or my septic, but I was desperate for the sparkle before hosting a large party. And, yes, its good at unclogging showers, too.

Was having a harder time finding drain clog material that works. This stuff is the best. Was using on my ancient toilet to keep it running smoother. Also works supremely in the drains. My plumber friend said to run some type of drain cleaner about 2 times per year. This stuff works longer. Glad I don't have to dump so much toxic chemicals into the water system. That's my story and i'm sticking to it!

My landlord gives me a washing machine with hookup whose pipes need unclogging. If I were to follow instructions and pour the cleaner straight down the pipes, it would probably be safe and effective. But then I'd have to dismantle the hookup, and I'm not sure I'm supposed to do that to my landlord's equipment. Likewise, this stuff eats through metal, so pouring it into the washing machine at any effective amount is probably out also.Value for money, it has. Each package has two bottles. So now I have *twice* as much as I'll probably never use.
